About the Internship:
This internship is tailored for individuals interested in mastering Building Information Modeling (BIM) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Interns will work on a capstone project designed to enhance their technical skills and practical knowledge. The program also includes site visits to provide hands-on exposure to real-world MEP systems and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capstone Project:
- Collaborate on a BIM-based MEP project to develop expertise in designing and modeling MEP systems.
- Gain hands-on experience with tools like Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks.
- Learning and Application:
- Participate in training sessions to understand the integration of MEP systems in BIM.
- Assist in the preparation of 3D models, coordination drawings, and clash detection reports.
- Site Visits:
- Visit construction sites to observe the practical implementation of MEP systems.
- Learn about real-world challenges and solutions in MEP system installations.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Support the creation of project documentation and deliverables.
- Present project findings and progress to mentors and peers.
